Day 28
June 29th, 2007
Push America day!!
Today was absolutely one of th best days we have had yet on the trip. It started off with a great breakfast once again provided by the Laramie cycling club. There were four of the club

members there who had decided to ride along with us to Cheyenne. The ride started with a great early morning wake up climb of about 7-10% for 10 miles. This climb was one of the best climbs we have had all trip. I rode up front with Justin, Geren and the four members of the cycling club. The ride was a beautiful 50 mile ride on a road that had virtually no cars. We were

able to keep a great pace and finish the ride fairly fast. We passed by a rock that reminded me of

the Lion King so I had to take a picture of it. Once we got to Cheyenne we waited for a police escort that took us through the town area, past the capital building and to a park for a friendship visit and some lunch. The mayor's assistant gave a great speech at the beginning of lunch

reading a letter the mayer had wrote. In the letter the mayer declared the day of june 29th Push America day! The lunch was a great prime rib sandwich provided once again by the Wyoming Cattlewoman's Association.
