Day 26
June 27th, 2007
Without a doubt today was the most difficult day of the trip. The ride clocked in at 120 miles and over 9 hours on the bike. Normally this long of a ride would not have taken this long however the wind was blowing in our face the entire day. The head wind was so bad at times it caused the group to slow to nearly 10mp on the flat areas. The terrain was mostly smaller rolling hills but

with the wind it even made it hard to peddle down hills. At one point during the ride a group of horses raced along side us as we rode by. They did not seem to mind the head wind. I was in the first group on the road and we were the only group to make it though the day. The other groups were forced to rack up their bikes in order to make it to lodging on time to head to dinner. Dinner was once again with the Wyoming Cattlewoman's Association. This time were got a chance to go out to their ranch and see what it is like to live on the ranch. The ranch we visited was a total of 7000 acres of all calf raising cattle ranch. On the ranch we got a chance to ride a homemade stage coach on a tour of a portion of the ranch.
