Day 27
June 28th, 2007
I decided to help out and sweep today with Jake. It was a nice break on my legs from the intense ride yesterday. Josh Donde joined us in the rear because he was also tired from the day before. For the majority of the 80 mile day was spent on a great back road with only light traffic.

However, for about the last 20 miles we had to travel on a road that seemed to carry a continuous flow of semi trucks. In Laramie we are being lodged at the community

recreation center. The center is a great facility that houses a big pool with a slide, a large gym and many other active fitness rooms. Once we arrived in Laramie it started to pour down rain. For lunch a few of us decided to take a break from the usual meat and bread sandwich we get on the road and went to Wingers. After lunch I got a chance to relax for a while and make some phone calls back home to let everyone know I am doing great. For dinner we went to Washington Park where we were treated to a great meal by the Laramie Bike Club. They also gave us really cool shirts that are tidied bright orange!
