Day 29
June 30th, 2007

Whelp, we finally made it out of the state of Wyoming! It may not sound like a big exciting event but it really is. For the most part Wyoming had nothing exciting to look at after Jackson. The sign entering Colorado said “Welcome to Colorful Colorado.” To be honest the scenery sure didn't change much. Actually the only thing that changed was the roads, they turned really bad in places. After the short ride we arrived at the Fort Collins Senior Center. The center was really new and had a wide range of facilities. For lunch we went down to the Pi Kappa Phi chapter house at Colorado State University and had a great steak lunch provided by the chapter. After lunch we had an opportunity to go out for a nice walk around the area. Fort Collins is a great small town. For dinner we had a friendship visit with the local Adaptive Recreation Opportunities. The group works to create sports teams for people with disabilities. For our visit we had a pool tournament at the senior center and ate pizza. My friend and I unfortunately lost in the first game but we had a great time.
